Ok, seriously don’t know what to say about this.. Am I missing something here, obviously getting married within a year of dating is the THING to do at the moment?? Wasn’t he supposed to be marrying Mel B this time last year?? I won’t comment on why others are actually more annoyed by this, that’s a whole other blog..

Anyhoo, ET is reporting (via OK! Magazine) that Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds are engaged.

According to OK! magazine, the 46-year-old 'Dreamgirls' and 'Shrek the Third' star proposed on July 25 with a "massive," roughly 8-carat CARTIER yellow diamond engagement ring.

A friend of the couple says, "They're very adorable together, very happy," adding that they plan to tie the knot before the end of the year with a private wedding: "something low-key and romantic."
