Burberry Jumps Over the Color Rainbow

Burberry has gone technicolor for spring!

In what marks a significant departure from the norm for the iconic British fashion house, Christopher Bailey has cast his team of bright young things in rich color against a clean white backdrop, in keeping with his collection’s vibrant hues.

Having for several seasons now focused the light away from established talent like Kate MossStella Tennant, the new campaign represents an energetic and new young Brit regime. Agyness Deyn, Burberry’s muse du jour, stars in the images shot by Mario Testino alongside the likes of Lily Donaldson, Coco Sumner (Sting’s daughter), actor Eddie Redmayne, and members of the British rock group Blondelle.

This campaign also marks only the second time Burberry has ever featured a full-color campaign; the first time was Spring 2006, when Gemma Ward was photographed against an oversized bronzed British flag.
