Jacob the Jeweller was sentenced to 30 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to falsifying records and giving misleading testimony in relation to a Federal investigation into money laundering. The Bling King, whose real name is Jacob Arabov, was made famous in the mid 1990’s when many Hip Hop and R&B stars discovered his blinding diamond studded super-sized jewellery. He will start his sentence in January...."I feel ashamed that I broke the laws of this country, a country that has been so good for me" the Russian born 42 year-old was reported to have said.
