Ok, so I really don't watch the show, seriously always preferred the original Brit version, just found the "US" one so Americanized, but then it's a US version, so why wouldn't it be???Anyhoo, only posting this because I must have had about 6 phone calls and 3 texts re "Did you watch American Idol??" - No I bloody didn't..

Rocker David Cook has been crowned winner of American Idol - scoring 12 million more votes than fellow finalist David Archuleta. Over 97.5 million votes were cast by the show's fans, a record for the hit Fox series.
