Eric Benet's "Sex Addiction"

Eric Benet is finally speaking out about the "sex addiction" that supposedly broke up his marriage with Halle Berry.

The star insists that the whole thing was made up, and he only agreed to seek counselling for a problem he never had in a desperate bid to save his marriage to the actress.

He says, "Going to that therapy, for me, was an attempt to save my marriage.

"If you've been unfaithful in a relationship, or your marriage, you're considered a sex addict now. I never really agreed with that philosophy."

Benet's infidelity eventually ended his relationship with Halle, the couple, who wed in 2001, were divorced four years later.
