Celebrity Dolls as Art - Angelina Jolie Doll
Noel Cruz took and ordinary doll and made a true Angelina Jolie look alike. By using his artistic talent, Cruz duplicated Angelina Jolie’s piercing blue eyes and her pouty full lips.
The doll is as seductive as the real Angelina Jolie. Hairstyles are exaggerated as a doll would be, but the resemblance is very striking. The doll sold on eBay recently for $3000.
From the bee-stung lips and perfectly arched eyebrows, to the tiny mole on her forehead, the hand painted figurine is an extremely accurate likeness of the Hollywood actress. (telegraph)

Breaking News: Travis Barker & DJ AM critically injured as 4 die in plane crash
Officials said the plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. The plane hurtled off the end of a runway and crashed through antennas and a fence. It came to rest a quarter-mile away on an embankment across a five-lane highway and was engulfed in flames, said Debbie Hersman, a member of the National Transportation Safety Board.
Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, were in critical but stable condition at a burn center in Augusta, Ga., on Saturday afternoon, hospital spokeswoman Beth Frits said. Augusta is about 75 miles southwest of Columbia.
Two other passengers — Chris Baker, 29, of Studio City, Calif., and Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles — died, as did pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif., and co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif., according to the county coroner. Baker was an assistant to Barker and Still was a security guard for the musician.
The plane was headed for Van Nuys, Calif. It is owned by Global Exec Aviation, a California-based charter company, and was certified to operate last year, Hersman said. The company expressed its condolences in a statement and said it was working with investigators to determine the cause of the crash.

Best Buy purchases Napster for a song
A concept my friend suggested and put together a plan on about 2 years ago:
"Let's get in bed with a giant retailer on the digital content provider side".
People laughed at her...Who's laughing all the way to the bank now?
-----
Best Buy Co., in a bid to boost its infant digital music service, has agreed to pay $121 million for the 706,000 subscribers of online music retailer Napster Inc.
Under terms of the all-cash deal, the Richfield-based consumer electronics retailer will pay $2.65 for each Napster share, a 95 percent premium over Napster's closing price of $1.36 last Friday. Analysts, however, noted Best Buy is really paying only $54 million for Napster, which holds about $67 million in cash and short term investments on its balance sheet.
Best Buy executives envision using Napster to distribute content beyond music, including movies and television shows.
"We can foresee Napster acting as a platform for accelerating our growth in the emerging industry of digital entertainment, beyond music subscriptions," said Dave Morrish, Best Buy's executive vice president of connected digital solutions.
The retailer launched Best Buy Digital Music Store in 2006, partially as a way to counter declining CD sales in the wake of the enormous popularity of Apple's iTunes service.

Show your DRAWERS, Go to Jail - That's the LAW..
I used to stare at guys in wonder when they "swaggered" by, not because of the air of confidence surrounding them, but because I'd be thinking "what's the magical secret to having your pants stay put when they're pulled waaay below the butt cheeks??"
It was always something that fascinated me and unfortunately I never had any friends that sported the fashion, therefore could never get a real explanation or show and tell about the subject matter..
Anyhoo, according to a CBS 12 report and The Smoking Gun, Riviera Beach (Florida) cops have been enforcing a new city ordinance targeting "young
Ordinance 12-3043 defines violators as those whose pants or shorts exposed between two and five inches of their undergarments. Since the crackdown last month 11 people have been arrested. First time violators of the ordinance face a fine of up to $150. Repeat offenders could be sent to jail for a maximum of 30 days. The irony of it is that jail is where "saggy fashion" started, need I say more?
Below are some mugshots of the offending parties... Notice a pattern??

Eric Benet's "Sex Addiction"
The star insists that the whole thing was made up, and he only agreed to seek counselling for a problem he never had in a desperate bid to save his marriage to the actress.
He says, "Going to that therapy, for me, was an attempt to save my marriage.
"If you've been unfaithful in a relationship, or your marriage, you're considered a sex addict now. I never really agreed with that philosophy."
Benet's infidelity eventually ended his relationship with Halle, the couple, who wed in 2001, were divorced four years later.

Movie Trailer - Soul Men starring Bernie Mac
The Official Trailer of Soul Men starring the wonderful late Bernie Mac, Samuel L. Jackson and an appearance by the late Issac Hayes.
SynopsisThough it's been some twenty years since they have spoken with one another, two estranged soul-singing legends (Jackson and Mac) agree to participate in a reunion performance at the Apollo Theater to honor their recently deceased band leader.
The film opens on November 7th (7 days before my birthday)
How to be a leading Hollywood Player when you're Lazy - As told by Ricky Gervais..
Funny stuff..
Don't forget to check out his new flick this month - GHOST TOWN.
---------
The Best Advice Is: Be in charge. Then you can do anything. If you're not in charge, always play characters who have your haircut. That saves an hour in the morning. No wigs, no beards. Forget it. I had to wear a beard for one day. Ridiculous. Forty minutes. No. My haircut: ten minutes. And don't choose ridiculous costumes. Choose normal clothes. Ordinary trousers, ordinary shoes that you can put on yourself. Costume: five minutes. Hair and makeup: ten minutes. That's it. No costumes. No wigs. Own haircut.
Two: Do your own accent. You don't want to have vocal coaching. Don't do anything that needs skill. If there's a scene and it says " . . . rides a horse," say, "You do not need me to ride that horse." Because you'll have to learn how to ride a horse. That could take, like, two weeks. Too busy. Too much trouble.
Three: Always say that your character should be sitting down. Don't ever be standing at the beginning of a scene. So if it starts off, "There's a knock at the door, you get up and answer the door," you'll be up and down for eight hours. Convince them that you should sit there and say, "Come in." When we were filming Ghost Town, I tried to convince the director, David Koepp, that we should do a remake of Ironside together. It's the old TV drama with Raymond Burr as a detective in a wheelchair. Also, I've always wanted to play someone in a coma. Just comes out of it at the end. I was really jealous of Colin Farrell when I found out that Phone Booth was shot in just 16 days. Some of it, he was sitting on the floor of the telephone box. One location, sitting down.
Four: If there are long and complicated monologues, cut them. Say, "I don't think I'd say that." No one will think you're being lazy; it comes across as integrity.
So if any directors are reading this, I will work every day. I will give it my all. I will give it everything. I will give you 100 percent between the hours of, say, eight and six. And that's from pickup to wrap. If it's, like, two miles away, you can't go, "You'll be picked up at six, it'll be over at eight." You're having a laugh. My pickup is no earlier than seven-thirty. I'm not a maniac. I have to be wrapped by six. Five-day weeks. I only shoot in London and New York. No night shoots. No wigs. No nudity--that's more for the general public's sake as opposed to mine. And let's not go on and on with it. Let's try to keep it under five, six weeks. So, Spielberg--your move.
New Season of Project Runway Not in Till '09
"With this move, the series will resume its traditional cycle of two seasons per year," a network rep told Entertainment Weekly.

Jabbawockeez: Jackson 5 Tribute @ BMI Urban Awards
Jabbawockeez rockin Fros while doing a Jackson 5 Tribute to "Dancing Machine" @ the BMI Urban Awards last night @ The Wilshire Theater.
Jacksons reunite at BMI Urban Awards
Janet Jackson presented her music-making brothers — Michael, Tito, Jackie, Marlon, Jermaine and Randy — with the lifetime achievement BMI Icon award following a musical tribute at the award show celebrating R&B and hip-hop's top hitmakers. While Tito, Jackie, Marlon and Randy reunited Thursday to accept the award, Jermaine and Michael didn't attend the Wilshire Theatre ceremony.
The Jackson Five — which included Michael along with Marlon, Jackie, Tito and Jermaine — was a groundbreaking, best-selling act that debuted on the 1969 album "Diana Ross Presents The Jackson 5." The group simply became the Jacksons after leaving Motown in 1976, replacing Jermaine with Randy. They continued their multiplatinum success with such hits as "ABC" and "I Want You Back."
"It's a great honor to know your music influenced a generation," said Tito. "We're very proud of this moment."
The tribute kicked off with dance troupe Jabbawockeez performing a funky "Dancing Machine" routine. Music group ONE sang "I Want You Back." JoJo and Lloyd partnered on "I'll Be There" before Mario unleashed a high-energy rendition of "Heartbreak Hotel" and Keri Hilson crooned "Who's Loving You." The finale featured Mario, Bobby Valentino, Lloyd and Ray J teaming up for "Never Can Say Goodbye."
Before presenting her brothers with the award, Janet said her family was her greatest commodity and that she was proud to salute her siblings for their accomplishments in the music industry.
Following the acceptance of the icon award, the Jackson brothers posed on stage for photos with father Joseph, mother Katherine and sisters Janet, LaToya and Rebbie. The Jacksons did not perform.

Michael Moore to release free documentary on Web
"Slacker Uprising" documents Moore's 62-city tour of key swing states during the 2004 U.S. presidential election, when he tried to convince young non-voters to give voting a shot.
"This is being done entirely as a gift to my fans," Moore said in a statement. "The only return any of us are hoping for is the largest turnout of young voters ever at the polls in November."
